Dany Assaf

is a globally recognized lawyer in competition law and policy. He and his wife Lisa co-founded Toronto’s “Fast in the 6” charity event, and his family helped establish the first mosque in Alberta in 1938.

Alex Johnston

is the CEO of 360 Concussion Care. She has served as executive director of the policy team for Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty and as a vice-president for the CBC.

Jennifer Hosten

is a native of Grenada; she worked as a broadcaster and airline hostess before winning the 1970 Miss World competition. She went on to careers as a diplomat, trade negotiator, and psychotherapist.

Elaine Chin

is the founder of the Executive Health Centre in Toronto, an advisor at the GH Wellness Lab (part of Good Housekeeping magazine), and a champion of wellness innovation.

Jaime Weinman

wrote about television at Maclean’s for over a decade, and has written for Vox, Vice, Literary Review of Canada, and Canadian Screenwriter.

Ira Wells

is an assistant professor of literature at Victoria College in the University of Toronto. His writing has appeared in The GuardianThe New Republic, The Walrus, and Globe and Mail.

Kat Goldman

is a celebrated songwriter; she has made four critically acclaimed albums and her songs have been covered by The Duhks and American folk hero Dar Williams.

Karen Gosbee

is a mental health advocate and the co-chair of The Community Action on Mental Health and Addiction Stewardship Group for The City of Calgary.
