Deirdre Kelly discusses her new book, Fashioning The Beatles, at the Fashion History Museum

The Fashion History Museum (FHM) is set to host a book talk and tea on Sunday, Nov. 19 at 2 p.m. with author Deirdre Kelly to discuss her new book, Fashioning The Beatles.

\”FHM curator Jonathan Walford will be talking with Kelly about 1960s fashions, The Beatles, and her process in researching, writing and 
publishing her seminal work about The Beatles’ influence on 1960s fashion. 

The talk will be followed by a Mod-themed tea featuring a selection of British treats during which Kelly will be available to sign books. Copies of Fashioning The Beatles will be available for purchase from the FHM gift shop. This event is included with the cost of admission to the museum.

Kelly is a Canadian journalist, author, and internationally recognized arts critic and style writer. From 1985 to 2017, she was a staff writer at The Globe and Mail. Her articles have appeared in a variety of international publications, including Marie Claire in London, Elle in New York, Vogue in Australia and arts e-zine, Critics At Large, in Toronto. Her newest book Fashioning the Beatles: The Looks that Shook the Worldwas released on Sept. 19 by Sutherland House Books.\” – CambridgeToday
